Be Proactive in Coping with Sociopolitical Stress
Stress from all sources can impact college student mental health, including stress from politics
and elections. According to the American Psychological Association’s 2024 Stress in America
Survey, 62% of adults cite U.S. Politics and 69% cite the U.S. presidential election as a
significant source of stress.
The Counseling Center offers several resources for you to be proactive to take care of yourself!
