Mental health is an important part of your overall well-being. Our free, brief, anonymous, and confidential online screenings can help you determine if you or someone you care about needs to connect with a mental health professional. We have screenings for a wide variety of concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, disordered eating, substance use, resiliency, and trauma. After completing a screening, you will immediately see your results as well as a list of recommendations and resources.
If you would like to learn more about our services, including our online screenings, please do not hesitate to call the Counseling Center at 828-262-3180, or check out our free online screenings here. To speak to a mental health professional, you can walk into the Counseling Center (located on the first floor of the Miles Annas Building) during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For urgent mental health issues after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends, please call the Counseling Center at 828-262-3180 and select the option to speak with the counselor on-call.
