Occasionally students will find themselves in need of a temporary absence from the University due to psychological reasons (e.g., following a sexual assault, following a suicial crisis).  On those occasions, the Counseling Center can work with a student to facilitate his/her return to the University.  The documents posted here provide additional information about the temporary absence, but students in need of this option should contact the Counseling Center directly
